It’s just about that time of year again!! The Chestatee Review will be launching its 2017 edition very soon, and you know we’re gonna celebrate. We’re having launch parties on both the Gainesville and Dahlonega campuses. You’ll find them on the Gainesville campus on Wednesday the 19th, in the Robinson Ballroom (Student Center) between 5 and 8pm, and in Dahlonega, on a Thursday night, April 27th, between 7 and 9pm in Starbucks.
But, before the parties start, we are doing something for the young writers and publishers still uninitiated in the culture of our literature and arts magazine. It’s called The Publishing Panel, or the Annual Research Conference (ARC) Publishing Panel, and some key members of our editorial staff will be there to network, educate, and bring newbies into the fold. They’ll also be discussing other UNG publishing ventures, like Papers and Publications. If you want to break into the literary world after college, but you’re not sure where to start, I’d say this is it, y’all.
Just be at Hansford hall in Dahlonega (room 312), the Admin building in Gainesville (room 112), or for the Oconee campus, come to room 108 in the Admin building there. Publishing Panel events will be held on the same day and time on all three campuses: Wednesday, April 19th, 12 to 1pm.
See you there!
